The Committee of the North East Region are delighted to be hosting the 2012 National Rally and look forward to welcoming members to the historic city of York.  The chosen venue is the University of York in the village of  Heslington.  Views of the main venues for our rally can be seen on our dedicated rally page on this web site.

In considering our programme for the weekend we have looked carefully at the cost for fully residential delegates and we feel this rate will encourage full teams to attend for the weekend. This does not, of course, preclude individual members attending who will be made most welcome

Our aim is to have a traditional rally with team performances, massed ringing opportunities, informal “Read and Ring” sessions and master class mini concerts by invited teams  The weekend will provide an  opportunity to meet old friends and hopefully meet ringers new to HRGB National Rallies.

After Friday registration delegates will enjoy a buffet evening meal which will be the prelude to an evening of social events including read and ring sessions and the all-important socialising in the lounge bar areas of James College.

There will also be a number of trade representatives present who will exhibit a wide range of handbell related merchandise including published music arranged specially for handbells.

The day will finish with our gala concert in Central Hall.
